Demand Congress Oppose New US-Israel Military Financing and Support Gaza Rebuilding
Despite agreeing to a comprehensive ceasefire in October 2025, the Israeli government has continued to violate the truce on an almost daily basis, killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinians and demolishing thousands of buildings. The United Nations has characterized Israel's ongoing actions in Gaza as genocide. The situation demands urgent oversight and accountability from U.S. lawmakers.
In the Senate, resolutions of disapproval aimed at blocking the sale of offensive weapons to Israel — S.J.Res. 138 and S.J.Res. 32 — were brought to the floor for a vote on April 15, 2026, but both failed. S.J.Res. 138 was defeated 36–63, and S.J.Res. 32 fell 40–59. The fight, however, is far from over. Congress must continue to exercise its oversight role and push back against U.S. complicity in ongoing ceasefire violations.
Adding to the concern, the Trump administration has unveiled plans to take over and redevelop the Gaza Strip through a so-called "Board of Peace" stacked with members of Trump's inner circle. Jared Kushner has already floated a vision of luxury skyscrapers and resorts — a plan critics say is designed to enrich insiders rather than serve the Palestinian people. Meanwhile, policy proposals influenced by the Heritage Foundation would replace the current Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Israel with an elevated "partnership" model, potentially funneling billions of additional U.S. dollars into military hardware sales to Israel.
Your representatives need to hear from you. Urge them to oppose any new military financing agreement with Israel, support a genuine and lasting ceasefire, block arms sales that enable ongoing attacks, and champion a Gaza rebuilding process that serves Palestinians — not oligarchs. The U.S. must not be a silent partner in the continued devastation of Gaza.

Hello, I am an assistant calling on behalf of a constituent, {{first_name}} {{last_name}} from {{city}}, {{state}} zip code {{zip_code}}. This call is to urge {{representative_name}} to take action on the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, Israel has continued military attacks in Gaza and Lebanon, and the United Nations has called what is happening there genocide. There is deep concern that the United States continues to supply weapons that are being used in violation of that ceasefire. Please support efforts to block offensive arms sales to Israel, oppose any new military financing partnership or MOU that deepens U.S. military involvement, reject any occupation or exploitation of Gaza, and support a rebuilding process that genuinely serves the Palestinian people — not luxury development schemes that benefit politically connected insiders. Additionally, please support a resolution recognizing a Palestinian state as a step toward a real two-state solution. This is an urgent humanitarian issue, and we hope {{representative_name}} will act accordingly.
